DJI Mini 3 Pro Mini 4 Pro Battery Keeper

Anyhow, this is how to keep the battery in place if you one with cracked tabs. That’s all.

Can you also take the temperature of the battery when it’s weighed both times

I may have missed something, confirm the tabs are still on the battery, just damaged, right?

All three batteries were at 100% charged, at room temperature. They hadn’t just been charged either.

Battery1 is the one with cracked tabs, but the tabs are still on it.

Yup. The other rwo batteries don’t need the hair boggle or elastic band.

Or just be more careful with the battery tabs in the first place ?

I just need a time machine now. Ha!

The pink gingham one would look rather fetching on the mini 4 pro😹

If the tabs are doing nothing then remove them completely to recover the gramms for your mod.

Ask your postie for elastic bands.

That’s even better, yes. Nice one.

Was one full of power?

Battery tabs breaking is a known issue. At one time DJI would replace the battery. I believe you can buy replacement battery bodies too. :+1:

Yes, unfortunately despite the known problems, from the DJI Mini 3 Pro batteries, they continue on the Mini 4 Pro too.

Update:

Home Bargains have an even lighter set of hair bobbles, here’s all thirty are shown weighed here, making one of them around half a gram.

I flew the drone today with one of them, and it made a flight without issues. The battery felt secure on landing.
