Wait till you e tried it
Tbh it’s not that great but my experience with drones with true autonomous flight probably spoiled me
Oh and litchi is superior in almost every way

Still waiting for the Grid Wizard feature on Maven to be issued - got to be 3 years now and still no progress despite numerous emails requesting status updates - same old answer every time
“This feature will be available in a future update of this app.” - yeah sure - not impressed
I was planning on buying the Mini 4K, but without the follow mode its not worth the money, i’m buying the Neo.
Hi @lahav, it looks as though you’re quite new here
Why not nip over to the Introductions page, and say hello properly and tell us a bit about yourself.
Depends what you want from your drone. The Neo will do all the bells & whistles tricks like following you or circling, and is cheaper than the 4K, but the 4K has 3-axis gimbal & Level 5 wind resistance, which means it is a lot more versatile as to conditions it can be flowin in. If you are into imagery, the 4K is a better bet, but if you want to get groovy follow-me footage for vlogging, that’s pretty much what the Neo is designed for.
The pricing is interesting. As it comes, the Neo is capable of being flown straight out of the box without an RC or even a phone; you press the appropriate button on the top, stand back, and watch her do her stuff; she’ll automatically come back to the start point. But that’s all without a controller. The smartphone app allows you to control the drone with virtual joysticks, but these are a poor substitute for a proper RC controller paired to the drone. These, of course, cost more beer vouchers, which will affect the price difference in favour of the 4K.
I would investigate the total cost of a Neo with an RC (there are two types suitable) against the total cost of the Mini 4K before deciding which is best for you. If you buy the bare box Neo, you may find that you need to buy an RC to get the best out of it, so don’t go into the deal blind!!!
