Drilling Carbon Fiber

Correct, use good quality carbide drills, high speed, and constant pressure, don’t put light pressure on as you’ll take the edge off the drill (carbon fibre is very abrasive to drills). When you’re just breaking through the other side, slow down on the pressure or the edge of the hole will basically look like a mouse has been chewing on it. If you’ve got access to a diamond grinding wheel, you can round the corners of the drill a little and that will stop the breaking on the far side.
(I was a cutter grinder for 35 years, and had the same problems with drilling Bakelite components)

Cheers John appreciate the input thanks :+1:t2:
