Drone party?

Here’s a weird one. Spitbank fort again but with a laser show and glowing drones! Don’t ask me what was going on, I have no idea!

Effing brilliant! (Whatever’s happening there … AND your video!)

Perhaps someone new has bought it as a rave venue?

You know it’s up for sale? … a couple of the forts are.

Its the perfect solution to crowded UK pubs, party hard and quarantine at the same time!

watching from the shore wasn’t as good as 200 ft up!

That is awesome!!! Great footage.

Do you use any video settings for this kind of night shots? Any filters?

Ah, the rehearsals for the alt-London New Year fireworks?

I suggest we spend the saving on helping the homeless or mending pot holes

I’m an ‘auto settings’ kind of guy!

Turned out great!!! Any ND filters there? What bird do you fly?

Edit, Mavic Pro 2 as it says on your signature.

I don’t even know what an ND filter is lol

And, like the “modern trend”, some people wear them when it’s cloudy and dark, and totally unnecessary. :dark_sunglasses:

I only wish i lived near the coast. Great footage that. Were you not tempted to get a bit closer?
Also, with all of those drones in the air, did NATs report any activity?

Probably reported “gnats”.

The laser show was advised by NOTAM several days before.

Its was! Its actually the only reason I found out about the laser show in the first place. I also logged my own flight as did a few others so I avoided their take off locations. Such a handy app.

thanks, I didnt want to get so close that I couldn’t see the display drones at all times to avoid collision risk. There were two other private drones about too so kept well back and stuck to my logged flight area.
