Drones over New Jersey

A lot of what he says is exactly what I was thinking too.

Things are magnified these days by the 24 hour news channel having to constantly churn out stories and get a more ‘exclusive’ story than the other channel.

They bring in unqualified talking heads such as Police officers & Gov officials and this makes what they say hold weight because of their standing, its ’White Coat’ syndrome.

Hyperbole, mass hysteria, agendas, ‘instant experts’ & untrained observers, major details left out (weather conditions, have any been seen in daylight?), different levels of government at odds with each other. It is too late now to hope for any believable rational explanation of what has been seen (which is of course almost entirely passenger aircraft and other legit aircraft).

By this time, even if a full explanation of the phenomena is agreed by all official parties and proved to be correct, a very significant number of people will react to the information as a cover-up, because they ‘know what they saw’. They don’t, but they genuinely believe that they do, and there is enough rubbish being put forward to give them ‘proof’.

Clocked some news yesterday & today regarding this rig moral with all the American news reporters jumping on the band wagon but “ Apparently “ drone(drones) forced runway’s to close Friday night 13-12-24 @ New York Stewart Airport,

NEW WINDSOR, N.Y.-- Drone activity forced runways at New York’s Stewart Airfield to shut down Friday night, according to Gov. Kathy Hochul. "Last night, the runways at Stewart Airfield were shut down for approximately one hour due to drone activity in the airspace.

Apparently, Lakehurst airbase (where the Hindenburg crashed) has a ‘correctional facility’ on the premises, which has been experiencing a lot of illegal drone activity, transporting contraband goods ‘over the wall’. But, hang on a minute, wouldn’t drug smugglers fly with their lights off?

… only the good ones that haven’t been caught would…

In the war going on in Ukraine, do you think the drones have lights? if they did what would be their longevity? about as close as I can get to a bang head on desk emoji :man_bowing:

mind you flying a drone with big f/o lights probably goes with the mass hysteria buildup of drones… so it serves a purpose to not do it covertly…

Has anyone checked on Phily drone life??? has be been out again??? Would have thought that would have been the first door knocked on. (has he coughed up the fine or still negotiating?)

Brilliant, just brilliant

More here @1CM69

White House Press Secretary has just stated that after research and study, the drones over New Jersey in large numbers were authorised to been flown by the FAA.

Which tells us not very much. Authorised to be flown means presumably that they were registered with the FAA, and their pilots could therefore be traced, but no mention has been made of this having been done. Since this business has caused a good deal of public alarm and been costly & time-consuming for police, fire departments, and the military, I’d want a fuller explanation than that if I lived locally.

I’m not sure I want to accept without further question that an abnormally large number of drones were being flown at night over a sustained period, to the extent that the locals noticed them, without some description of what the FAA thought they were doing. The official response to this has been ‘don’t worry, they aren’t doing anything for you to worry about, we know about them’ from the get-go, with no further comment. This is bound to result in conspiracy theories, and they will be reinforced by further equivocation of this sort.

The reason might be as straightforward and innocent as a large number of new drones being purchased in the Black Friday reductions, and their owners were trying them out after they’d got home from work, but if that’s the case, why not just say so.

Muricans. Great spectator sport!
