Lovely video, brings back lovely memories spent ot Kipford Loch, Gatehouse of Fleet and Dalbeattie.
Love the video; the old bridge and dam are great focus pieces. Where about’s in Dumfries & Galloway are these two?
The bridge is on Loch Ken, just to the North of the holiday park, there is a small car park with access to the loch there. It’s not far from the old station at Parton.
The dam is on Clatteringshaws Loch, which is on the Queen’s Way in the Dumfries & Galloway forest.

I remember some of my kids with “challenging behaviour” running up on the side ARCHES of that bridge while I was cooking by the tent and, while they were in my charge!!
