I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:
Land owner permission not required.
TOAL from the beach which is foreshore. Parking available on street or in the public car park behind the café.
The café is clad with Corten steel and sits next to the shingle beach.
As a bonus the meals that the café provides can be recommended.
The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 22/10/2023. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

@PingSpike I notice that you have edited this post to include South East in the description and in the label next to the pin and also to improve the layout of the photo. Thank you for doing that.
This is the first location that I have added to Drone Scene and I couldn’t work out how to get the South East part added correctly. Can you tell me where I went wrong so that I can get it right next time please?

Drone Scene automatically looks up and assigns the region for each location, at the time you add it.
The only time it can’t do that is when people place a pin in the water; canals or the ocean for example.

Ok, thank you. I did dither about a bit trying to get it right without having a good understanding of what was required. I’ll try again sometime and see if it goes better.
