Don’t watch it. He talks shite
I watched it. appears logical, interesting and helpful to me.
I could find ExpressLRS github with ease - GitHub - ExpressLRS/ExpressLRS: STM32/ESP32/ESP8285-based High-Performance Radio Link for RC applications Was a good recommendation by @GunjaFPV for my preferences.
Generally interested what was wrong with Bardwell’s video ?
I’ve still not watched it. Nothing wrong with crossfire. But if picking today as the same applies 2 years ago… ELRS… All the way
Hi Lance
I’m going to have to refund your payment.
When I came to give it a full check over before packing there is an intermittent connection on the main board which I cannot immediately identify and resolve.
I can’t sell a product that is not fully working and as described, hence your refund.
I’m really sorry, this is not how I like to do things
Steve
I can almost guarantee it will be the connection between the sled and the power supply pin header. The solder contact points are that tiny. It’s hard to get a good joint.
I ended up packing out the other side of the board with a little rubber pad to increase the pressure on that connection it worked a treat for me
Hi Steve, I sent you a PM in response, let me know what you think…
@Steviegeek check this connection circled in red below.
@DeanoG60
Done all that mate
I’ve refitted the top board, used new connections, joints perfect and all signals checked
It’s a USB connection issue, I’ve checked and resolved the socket, all looking good.
Needs greater digging to solve this one
Cheers
