If you could, and only if you have time, could you possibly share some insight on how and why you arrived at your image? Don’t need anything fancy like walkthroughs or screengrabs etc.
Sure, no worries.
Step 1 was a crop to aid composition. I felt that by bring the right side in to the fence line, along with the paths on the left, helped draw the eye in to the centre. This crop also brought the horizon line nearer the thirds.
Step 2 was even up the overall exposure slightly, by selecting the sky in PS then darkening it using levels and curves, the land was also selected and brightened the same way.
Step 3 was to add a light vignette.
Step 4 was to convert to mono and add a hint of blue. I always tend to associate snowy scenes with black & white photography. The blue tone was to emphasise the cold.
