Well done, I’ve often admired your photos and now you have some recognition.
I send quite a few into my local paper and they always seem to publish them but to have a double page spread can only be good for you and to show others what a fabulous hobby combining drones with photography it can be.

No, they contacted my via Instagram as the occasionally feature local photographers. As I was about to send my PfCO application off, I thought would be really good advertising and so happy for free…

Despite how it reads on the webpage, You can’t actually buy any of my photos from them. They only had 1-2 mb files anyway. They did ask for a link to where they could be bought, but have nothing set up at the moment.

Thanks Rich, actually 2 of the photos in the spread were GADC winners and I know that the challenges helped me to push my drone photography.

Thanks Brian. I haven’t done that, but what a good idea.

A great way for everyone’s GADC to promote the benefits on drone photography in a more subtle way. The paper did post one photo on their Facebook page and there were no negative comments about drones, which I thought was a positive!
