Flight Restriction Zones - What to do next

Ok, stupid question time. I’ve contacted my local airport ATC via a detailed email for permission to fly along a stretch of foreshore that’s clipped by the FRZ of Southend Airport here in the South East. I did apply via NATS but they said no, contact the airport tower direct, they don’t cover it.

Now assuming they say yes, go ahead what happens next? Having never done this before I’m a tad confused (easily done) as to how DJI Fly app will know they have.
