Flying above fireworks ? Settings to use?

Has anybody sent there drone out on bonfire night ? If so what settings did you use, plus how high do rockets go, I want to be higher than them for obvious reasons. have you got an photos/video you could share thanks

Iā€™m say thatā€™s bit of a ā€œhow long is a piece of stringā€ question really, Iā€™d imagine the more they cost the higher they go (and the bigger they bang!)

What are the chances of getting tagged by a rocket though? The sky is a big place :+1:

Iā€™ve seen that on a Phantom 2 video on YT a few years ago!

The CAA have to be informed if planned height exceeds 250ft!
Iā€™m guessing thereā€™s be a NOTAM.

(Edit: Thatā€™s what it was a few years ago when I had the appropriate display license. May have changed ā€¦ but doubt it.)

Thatā€™s as close as I dared get last year but I figured the odds of getting struck were pretty low
