Was going to fly around Avebury and Silbury Hill this sunny weekend.
The website states…
English Heritage does not permit drone flying from or over sites in our care, except by contractors or partners undertaking flights for a specific purpose, who satisfy stringent CAA criteria, have the correct insurances and permissions, and are operating under controlled conditions.
What BS is this ?
What legal action can English Heritage ACTUALLY take if I fly over ??
They don’t own the sky.
As I need a gimbal angle of 30 degrees down, at 120 Metres height, this makes the mavic need to fly
at well over 200 Metres outside the centre of the stone circle.
So it will not actually be flying over anyone but empty fields.
