Anyone flown on the isle of wight ?
Going over for car show, staying for a week and taking the drone
I know NT and EH have fingers dug squarely in, has anyone flown there, any reccomendations etc ?

I’ve flown at Cowes and Ryde numerous times, never had a problem whatsoever.
Plenty of coastal sites, Needles, Blackgang, St Cathrines, St Helens etc. Also the castle. Just be aware of flying over people and nesting birds.

I live on the Isle of Wight, and there are many places you can fly over here.
I learnt to paraglide over there years ago, but haven’t been over yet with the drone. Been most of the way flying round Hurst Castle from Keyhaven. The main problem is the second mortgage for the ferry tickets 
Yes, it’s been said for years it’s probably the most expensive ferry crossing per mile in the world, and my well be true!
That has indeed been said for years .. but I hadn’t realised it could now cost THAT much.
Wightlink should fly the Jolly Roger!!! A quick peruse of Red Funnels page has a 4 day return with 2 passengers and a vehicle for £153.00
Still crazily high but nothing compared to Wightlink!
