I have the pleasure on the 23rd May of filming the opening of Foxfield to the public.
We managed to get in the air yesterday after filming on the ground yesterday and boy was pleased

Well done, a great vid. I’ve worked for the railway for 25 years. When I first joined I was staggered that I had to learn18th century rules and signalling morse code. I soon found out why when I was put in charge of signalling trains from signal boxes that looked straight out of a museum heated by a pot bellied coal stove, pulling levers to operate semaphore signals. The joy when we got carpets a proper kitchen area with a fridge and double glazing with gas heating, and now those boxes are gone and I work from a secure building in York watching screens like air traffic controllers.
