GADC 4th Birthday Challenge

Where can I fly my drone in the UK? - Garsdale Viaduct - Bridges in North West (dronescene.co.uk)

Garsdale Head - Wikipedia

I actually went up here last weekend after doing the highest point in lancashire and missed the train by 20 seconds.
I managed to get it in the air pre connecting to the app but it didn’t connect in time for me to take a photo of the train on the viaduct. and i wasn’t waiting an hour for the next train. :joy: :crazy_face: :rofl:

Hang on, I’d just climbed an effin big hill to get the highest point in Lancashire so was knackered. Anyways as the yanks like to say, I showed commitment today by driving back there specially to get the shot, dealing with Sunday drivers and tractors :rofl::rofl:

Well, if you were knackered you should have taken an hour’s rest! Looks like a grand spot for a sit down and contemplate the landscape :slight_smile:

Why not allow the drone to do the work for you? :joy:

VLOS. 3.5 miles from where I parked to the top of the hill. And knowing my luck it would have crashed up there so I would still have had to go up to get it back.:rofl::rofl:
And we all know how vicious sheep’s can be they may have eaten it by the time I got to it.
:rofl::rofl:

Could be you why? The other week it was slow loading data

Item 10. Canal or River Lock

This was a quick scramble to get in the air as a boat was in the lock as soon as we got there!! I think by the time the next boat came (at least 1 1/2 hour later by the time it got through the 16 locks, the canoeists would have gone

I love my facial hair however my Army Reserve career means whenever I am on duty which is every other weekend I have to shave :man_facepalming: once they move into the 21st century like the RAF and RN and allow us to keep a beard I will be a happy man!
