I actually went up here last weekend after doing the highest point in lancashire and missed the train by 20 seconds.
I managed to get it in the air pre connecting to the app but it didn’t connect in time for me to take a photo of the train on the viaduct. and i wasn’t waiting an hour for the next train.
Hang on, I’d just climbed an effin big hill to get the highest point in Lancashire so was knackered. Anyways as the yanks like to say, I showed commitment today by driving back there specially to get the shot, dealing with Sunday drivers and tractors
VLOS. 3.5 miles from where I parked to the top of the hill. And knowing my luck it would have crashed up there so I would still have had to go up to get it back.
And we all know how vicious sheep’s can be they may have eaten it by the time I got to it.
This was a quick scramble to get in the air as a boat was in the lock as soon as we got there!! I think by the time the next boat came (at least 1 1/2 hour later by the time it got through the 16 locks, the canoeists would have gone
Stunning monument hidden from Public view. Public could walk up to the monuments but this was stopped in April 2021. The Mausoleum Woods permanently closed after historic monuments targeted by vandals.
The monument stands in Lord Yarborough 28,000 acre Lincolnshire Estate Brocklesby Park.The monument is in the FRZ of Humberside Airport

I love my facial hair however my Army Reserve career means whenever I am on duty which is every other weekend I have to shave once they move into the 21st century like the RAF and RN and allow us to keep a beard I will be a happy man!
