The amount of heavy padded clothes / the layers of caps (backwards - from where your quad arrived) and the scarf show you the trust I had. The look of relief at the end probably shows more.

But what ANNOYS me the most, is that I failed two landings on my attempts while you nailed yours on the FIRST attempt…!!! congratulations - nice one!!!

killer!!!

And here is my (late - but not too late (pfew!) ) entry (abandoned golf course - 5" custom built drone) - thank you all for your patience - PS I love the fact we have soo much activity here!

Because I believe there is always a story behind every video / image, please allow me to post the context of this video:

"The greyarrows challenges can be fun and this one is for the Perch!

Let’s be clear - weather was crap for a long time and inspiration was missing. Then DodgerFPV arrived with his whoop perching on the top of a dude with a drone landing pad… THANK YOU! What a laugh.

I exposed the idea to Mr B… and her we go!

I confidently dropped the heavy 5" quad on the plank of wood over his head, and he took the blunt of the weight / force. You know what? He’s resilient as he authorised me to miss another time before the successful attempt. Not a peep!

Shall I also say that he did it subsequently, and succeeded on the first attempt? Bugger. But that’s not all, he was wondering why I was confident (Was I? Poker face? Total stupidity from my side?) — until I told him I was glad he landed with his 3.5" instead of a 5" lawnmower!

Now we are not (completely) dumb and we were very slow, and only doing it from behind.

Actually, that was dumb. Don’t try it at home or even outside. But what a laugh.

I flew with the “DeepOne” my 5" O4 pro 6S."

That dude was me. :hugs:

I’m not insane enough, to allow a 5” to land on my head, but I’m mad enough to crash an Avata 2 into it.

Keep em coming

Here is my entry - strongly inspired by @BigDog 's one

I remembered the Firefly had some prop guards in the box so felt like the opportunity to try them :innocent:

Location: Corby
Today @ 5PM
Firefly 18 O4 (wide)

Ha - Prop guard do not focus the mind. A 5-inch with no prop guards landing on your head - makes you question your choices, but you feel alive!

Courage shall not be mistaken with madness… Well done for showing the way!

Forecast for this weekend, seems to be favourable at the moment, so I’m hoping to get a flight or three completed and attempt this challenge.
