Hi everyone, My name is Alan I am almost a new flyer i used to fly a DJI MAVIC AIR but didn’t use it much because of the fear of people stoping me and moaning about drones which in a way I can understand but I would only fly in remote locations and early in mornings and following all the rules then came the manatery requirments of registration that did it for me so got rid of drone. But time has move on and so has technology I now have a DJI NEO which only weighs 135 G it is fantastic to take anywhere and is so versatile if you haven’t seen one check it out on YouTube I now can fly in confidence at all times of day and people don’t bother me and I don’t mind if they are intrigued by it. ---

Hi thank for your warm welcome and advise its appreciated Yes I did get operator and flyer ID did both as one was free and great info I don’t think that was my main problem when it started I think it was the drone police constantly stopping me and having to explain it’s a remote area I am not flying over property or filming people in their PJ s lol ---

Hi and welcome to the group. It is a shame that you gave up the drone but glad you have now come back to droaning and got a neo. We have a neo and will be getting it up in the air soon. Glad you also got the confidence to fly without the concern of people. We have had 1 person moan at us and plenty of people who enquired to look at it with interets. People will come up and they are interested in the quality of the image. ---

Hi Thank you for your welcome I hope you enjoy the neo as much as I do I am taking it to St Lucia and Trinidad in June but it took a lot of work to get permission from both countries but have got permits now It’s the perfect size for travel ---
