Great to support the Group - Preston

I’ve followed the club for ages now and love how you support the community and realised I wasn’t a paid member so I’ve just corrected that. I already have the PL cover though FPV UK where I renew annually but I’d love to support you so signed up for a Silver membership.

Love all the extra little perks it’s great and when you next have a meet up I’ll definitely be there.

Would love to connect with different drone and FPV pilots as there’s an awesome community but always hard to find people in person to collab, fly or even chat drones with.

I’m based near Preston and fly everything from tinywhoops right up to 7.5” drones (looking to build a 9” soon too). So be great to meet local pilots and get out and fly etc..

I fly FOV and have around 16 drones. Mixture of BNF and plenty I’ve built myself too. Love the build process and do repair drones for people too and have even done remote support and calls plenty too. So happy to help if people want something building or repairing too.

I run a new tech/fpv YouTube channel http://youtube.com/@kristalkstech alongside my main hiking and outdoor YouTube channel @kisgleave and review lots of drones and camera tech too so great if anyone wants to support the channel and subscribe too.

Hi @Krisgleave and welcome to Grey Arrows :wave:t2:

We have a very active group in the north west which meetup regularly at Beacon Country Park in Skem, which won’t be too far from you. Lots of FPV addicts in attendance at those meetups

If you join one of the regional groups you’ll get notified when there’s a meetup taking place - and you can of course organise your own local meetup with just a few clicks.

Flying a drone is great fun but sometimes you feel the need to have a purpose for doing so and the Challenges category provides some great reasons for you to fly.

There are regular challenges which are open to all, that attract members of all abilities. Support, advice and constructive criticism is freely available; still photography, video and the techniques for editing both are involved in the challenges. Suggestions, for subjects or for complete challenges, are always welcome - take a look in the Challenges category for more information.

We’re a well established club with many knowledgeable members so it’s very likely that any issues you come across will have been discussed here before. Our discussion forum has very powerful search features which should help you find what you need but if you get stuck you can post a new question in the Questions & Answers category.

And finally, if you are new to drones and wondering what it’s all about, have a look at Resources for a beginner.

Welcome once again!

Hi from sunny Morecambe. I always thought GA meets were for flying but there was a recent one in a coffee shop, great idea. Why not post a cafe meet?
