I wanted to drop a quick message to say introduce myself. I am based in Essex, and I am a new drone owner.
Found this club via “Ian in London” YouTube channel.
I have recently purchased a DJI FPV drone. I had a DJI Phantom many years ago but sold it very quickly again as I did not have enough time to fly it (flew less than 30 mins ) , but as I love to tour the country with my dog, I am sure to get out and about more now.
Trying to get my head around all the different restrictions, License etc etc
I am looking forward to chatting with new people and sharing experiences with you all.
Have you seen our members map? (Click the burger-menu in the top right) You may find some pilots living near you. Feel free to add yourself to the members map too
We’re a well established club with many knowledgeable members so it’s very likely that any issues you come across will have been discussed here before. Our discussion forum has very powerful search features which should help you find what you need but if you get stuck you can post a new question in the #questions-and-answers category.
