# Grounded frame?

Is it an issue for your frame to be grounded? Saw in Bardwells video a mention of this, but they dismissed it. Not checked mine tbh, but for the electrical whizz’s here worth checking with you?

Personally I think it’s bollocks. When it comes to RF the bigger the ground the better, especially when using unbalanced antennas like the ones we use. It will probably help in limiting the common mode currents, seen as noise in the video feed and on the rats nest of cabling. Chances are he saw an improvement because his wiring may have originally been suspect.
