Having trouble connecting my walksnail goggles

This is my 1st drone so there’s probably an easy fix but I’m dumb.
I bout a mobile 8 elrs drone with the walksnail avatar goggles.
I can fly the drone using a radio master controller but I can’t connect my goggles.
I came across a YouTube video explaining how to connect them. It says to download the firmware and to put that on the goggles and drone. I did that on the goggles using I SD card but I can’t get them onto the drone. He also says ones that’s done push a button to bind them. There isn’t a button ion the drone even if I could get the files on there. I hope I’ve made sense. Ive almost given up trying. That’s the link for the YouTube video I watched.

I am guessing it the walksnail drone is not a moonlight but a walksnail VTX like the nano or 1s or V2.

Need to use the cable to connect to the VTX in the drone to usb. Then VTX will appear as mountable storage like the SD card. Then copy the firmware.

Post either a photo of the drone or model number (or both) and I can be more specific.

The cable connection VTX to USB is equally small. Should have the cable supplied with the drone

Ah I see. The vtx cable never came with the drone. I’m guessing it plugs into the back of the camera here

My drone appears to look slightly different to yours. There definitely isn’t a button unless I’m being a complete idiot which could be possible haha

Doesn’t look like a walksnail quad to me. Looks like an analogue one?

Only one yellow cable from camera which the HDZero does on the eco, but not walksnail as far as I am aware(could be wrong)

What did you pay for it? Around 100 then it’s analogue and therefore you have the wrong goggles I’m afraid. Or the wrong drone

The camera says caddxfpv on it not sure if that helps

Yes afraid you have. That’s an analogue quad (openVTX). Caddx make cameras for analogue, walksnail, HDZero and DJI. They just not compatible

You should be able to return it unused (7days elling act and all that).

Ahh well that would be why I’m struggling then haha. Thank you for your help. Do you know which. I didn’t realise there was 2 different types. Well I’ve learnt something today so not all negative haha

Unfortunately like an idiot I’ve been using it around the kitchen so there are signs of use

Send the goggles back and get some analogue ones. Lots of choice there
