One of our local nature reserves Lunt Meadows has a river running through the middle, during storm Christof the river bust its banks and flooded the reserve.
There is an influx of nesting ground birds who rely upon this ground so there is a rush on to fix the bank and remove the flood water I passed to day to find them using a helicopter to move the materials to the river bank.
Really impressive work!
