Hello from Mid Wiltshire
Hello everybody, I am a new flyer of Tello and Mini2 in mid Wilts and I’m on the edge of the lovely big red block.
I talk and share way too much…then nothing for days or weeks because of a brain fart, well lots of farts, on both sides . Anyway after 3yrs of being fed-up indoors, I got an electric scooter.
I really struggle with tech now but My 10yr grandson starting bugging me about teaching him how to create/edit/share video as it was my job before BS (before stroke). The scooter has made/helped me want to get out more, but typically I want to places I can’t reach. I thought if bought myself a toy cam drone for Christmas I could satisfy my want/need to explore and watch nature and get some nice, simple, non-flicker footage. It was big,baggy pants, but I had loads of fun. My mind has been blown several times fro trying to research ttthings. i WAnted to start small in case I didn’t like it. I didn’t want to waste money. but I sent it back and got a tello and Omg, what a difference! Trouble is then, I really, really wanted to fly but the weather is so disgusting.
So anyway, I was surfin’ and the next ‘jump’ up I found interesting was the mini 2; more wind resistance, higher speed, altitude, distance ,gimbal cam, 4k video etc,etc more wind resistance (did I mention the wind resistance 
really important where we live…and well, it fell into my basket!
Whilst waiting for delivery, Hubby and I got our Flyer ID’s and Operator ID, as we are both keen!
Well it arrived and it didn’t stop raining for two days! Bah. But took it out today and I think I am in love! So smooth, so responsive, great video! The grin on my husbands face when he tested the speed! We were both grinning like kids. We didn’t get long because of the wind but I am super excited about the future and being able to capture some of the awesome countryside we have around here.
Told ya, I talk/share too much! Oh, and I am now banned from Amazon (j/k)
