Hi, I’m Darren, new to drone flying and looking to chat with like minded individuals who could maybe share tips, tricks and some cool flying locations that i haven’t discovered yet

Have you seen our members map? (Click the burger-menu in the top right) You may find some pilots living near you. Feel free to add yourself to the members map too 
We’re a well established club with many knowledgeable members so it’s very likely that any issues you come across will have been discussed here before. Our discussion forum has very powerful search features which should help you find what you need but if you get stuck you can post a new question in the Questions & Answers category.

Hi Darren, glad you got the invite. Welcome.
I have sent you a direct message too for you to look at in comparison but in general, if you have a question then just post it on this group. Someone somewhere will have an answer and if they do not then someone will look into it. Many questions are answered. There is help from people all over the place. Try to post in the correct location but if you do not there will be a moderator change it for you. Get to know people. You can see where the people are on here who are close and you can meet up. There are regular meets and if you actually are happy driving a while then you can meet up with a few members. Take this time to make a few friends but it is great when these names turn into faces. At the moment you will be typing to user names. We went to the Big Meet and we got to see all the people who use the site a lot and others too. Now when I type to people on here, I see a face, a character and it is like we are there. Where I first met Nathan as I said is not really drone friendly which is why we introduced you to here. Keep an eye on the forum, check out if there are meets and see if you want to go to one. I am trying to get a good location for a meet so there will be one local soon. After a short while you will see what a great community this is.
