Hello from Northampton

Hi All -

I fly mostly self-build FPV quads, but did start my journey with a DJI Mini 3 which is still doing great.

Current fleet seems to be expanding weekly, but most flown would be:

AOS UL7 Evo Long Range

Quadmula Siren F5 Split

Quadmula Siren F35 Split

TP3 HD0 Toothpick

Currently halfway between the bench and the field is the Shendrone Thicc X8 Cinelift.

Happy flying

Hello @rqn61aa Matthew welcome to the club :+1:

Welcome :+1:

Hi Matthew, welcome from the Black Country

Welcome aboard

What cameras/lenses are you putting on the Shendrone Thicc X8 @rqn61aa ?

I dont have a cine camera to do the frame justice, so just flying it without. Built the X8 more for the experience of the build, than using it as a cinelifter long term.

Welcome @rqn61aa :tada: - some suspicious similitudes there :eyes: - I have a toothpick, a 3.5", a 5" and finishing a 7") - I was considering an x8 as my next project too but just discovered x-class racing drone so the future is no longer certain

You could fly it with a dummy camera and get used to the weight difference? I see people on the youtubes doing that. I guess it meNs buying/making a mount
