I am Stephen and I have just purchased the DJI Mini 2. As a building surveyor my intention is to use it in my work and I have been practicing flying up and around my house in preparation for real use. I did take it on a survey yesterday, but it was too windy to fly it.
My other aim is to take footage for my website - in due course. I deal mainly with historic buildings and as part of my future work I am doing a lot of training in relation to this.

Don’t forget your commercial insurance as BMFA or FPVUK insurance is only valid for recreational flights
Thanks for the heads up. Yes, at present I have only recreational cover, but I have asked my business insurance broker to get quotes for commercial insurance as well. I will only be flying recreationally until then.
