Hi All,

Brand new to the drone world and just wanted to post and say hello and also how much help this forum has been along with dronescene.co.uk. So Thanks!!

Reading through the many posts has made me super excited to go flying and also a tad more nervous about it because of a the ‘Can I/Can’t I’ in certain areas…

Like most, I hate confrontation so would prefer to avoid that especially while I’m trying to get the hang of flying first, the last thing I want is for someone to be in my ear!

I’ll keep spending many an hour on here reading through peoples posts and watching their vids and learning!

Any tips from you pros for an absolute noob like me to settle the nerves and chill a bit? Any local-ish places (not too important that the scenery is special) that you’ve been to practice without fuss…

Sorry if this has dragged on a bit and if its the millionth post like this…

Have you seen our members map? (Click the burger-menu in the top right) You may find some pilots living near you. Feel free to add yourself to the members map too :+1:t2:

We’re a well established club with many knowledgable members so it’s very likely that any issues you come across will have been discussed here before.
