When we’re not grounded as a nation

After we’d finished taking the piss we both went and helped retrieve his quad :ok_hand:t2: we’re nice like that, take the piss first then feel bad and help out

Just out of interest Steve,

What damage did the drone suffer from falling down from the tree at that height (as opposed to the damage you think must have happened when it go stuck up there)?

Good to hear you did get it back & hope it wasn’t too badly damaged.

Where’s your gang with a blanket for it to drop into?

Busy taking the piss

Hi @Soxer
No damage at all :slightly_smiling_face:
It’s a Source One frame (with 5" arms) almost bomb-proof.
I chose this frame to try to master FPV flying so I needed something bloody rugged

And it’s usually me :frowning:

You’re lucky my p4pro had a coming together with a popular tree, at 190ft!
Had to use my mavic to locate it and the height.
In the end I paid a tree surgeon to climb up and retrieve it.
New shell top and bottom + 2 new motors required to fix it

Next time there is a ‘lone tree’ competition, remember you don’t have to land in it.

Well it is an unwritten law that you must take the piss out of your mate in their time of need before you can help them

Yep  the mate in need is always appreciative

Bloody hell, fields everywhere, as far as you can see. There’s just that one tree…
:grin::grin::grin::grin::grin:

Having seen this I think I’m going to keep my Roach pole in the car. You just never know.

NO there’s more than one :stuck_out_tongue:

So he’s picked that one? After scouting them all? :joy::joy::joy:

Yep. And skilfully landed it right at the top

I recognise skill and superior drone flying when I see it. Most excellent piloting. When I grow up i want to fly like you :sunglasses::sunglasses::sunglasses:
