I gat a rat in my kitchen what am I going to do?

These sell like hot cakes! (although I give most of them away)
Yew mice on spalted beech cheese.
Planning to make a plate, cheese knife, cheese and a mouse all in wood. Also a mouse sat on a log under a mushroom or two.

If you’re ever up this way I have a big slab of spalted ash you can have, I was going to chop it up for firewood as it’s been seasoned for 5 years but can’t bring myself to put a match to it!

Thanks for the offer. A tad too far for me to go LOL.
Firewood and tidal driftwood is my best source of interesting figured wood.
The ears and tails on these mice are off cuts of Hypalon from when I repair MOD Police Delta RIB,s at work. Waste not want not!

I did something else with my spalted beech. It was a while ago now, mind.

Wow!

I built a Flying V style guitar about 16 yrs ago out of Brazilian mahogany. Set neck construction. It has an Indian rosewood fingerboard and the head was faced with a 1/8” thick piece of ebony. Took the best part of a year from start to finish.

Pictures, or it didn’t happen!
