I have inherited dozens of drones

My brother was a drone enthusiast but has sadly passed away.
He bought and built dozens of drones and I have inherited them. There are boxes and boxes of wires, chips and other drone consumables and I have no idea what to do with it all!

Would anyone be interested in taking a look and advising whether they are worth selling or what I should do with them!

Hi, @Garysis .. sorry to hear of your loss.

Could you give an idea of your location? That might help someone if they might be interested in taking to look.

Hi @Garysis

Adding photos will stimulate interest and get folks asking what you want for them.

Myself included

Sorry for your loss.

There a (poor taste) joke about when a drone person has past away, never sell the drones for what they said it cost them. As the real purchase cost may be higher.

With photos I am sure people fair appraisal. Just make sure you keep it low key.

“HE SPENT HOW MUCH IN DRONES?”

No one ever tell my wife the real costs… Even after I pass…

OP if you can, post some photos, we’ll help you out.

Depending on what’s there, I may be interested in a few bits. I’m in Hertfordshire, about an hour from you.

If it’s not too much trouble, it would be beneficial if you were able to share photos of items in boxes, so that the text on the packages can be read.

No need to photograph them individually.

They’re not in boxes unfortunately, my brother stored them individually in plastic boxes

I am so sorry g ff or your loss :broken_heart:

The drones and equipment look a little dated (GPRS is older, analogue all in one camera.)

Ball-park.

Drone with big props 7 inch - maybe £150
Drone with red props, 5 inch FPV analogue - maybe £120
Drone with purple props, 4 inch FPV analogue - maybe £120
Example: 5 Inch Analog FPV Drone *2 | eBay UK?

The purple props, has a holder for a Go-Pro - this could worth £150

Box around £10-20 per box

Slippers £3

I am stunned!!
I thought that they were basically adult meccano sets and would not be worth anything!!

I am going away next week for a couple of weeks, when I get back I will be in touch again for advice on what to do with them next!

Thank you everyone for your help and maybe I will meet some of you at some time!

I’m not sure I’d put the prices as high as that.

Most of the stuff there is over 6 or 7 years old and obsolete.

Maybe, it was a guess.
How would you price it ?
