Interactive 360 Panoramas - How To

#1

It’s now possible to create 360 panoramas in the DJI Go4 app.

You can post these panoramas in the forum to be viewed interactively.

It’s also possible to create your own equirectangular panoramas in other stitching software such as PTGui, Hugin, AutoPano Giga, Microsoft ICE, to name a few.

Ideally, your equirectangle image should come out at size ratio of 2:1 or as close as possible to that.
Certainly the DJI Go4 app produces a perfect 2:1 ratio image of 4000x2000

Instructions

**Step 1 -Upload the image to Kuula - up to 16,384 x 8,192
Go to Share/Embed select HTML and copy the script and paste here.

Step 1 - Upload a pano image
Upload the image to Kuula - https://kuula.co/ - up to 16,384 x 8,192

Step 2 - Get the embed code
Go to Share/Embed select HTML and copy the code for the IFRAME (Tip: Double click the HTML code to select it, rather than by highlighting.)

Step 3 - Paste the copied HTML IFRAME code into a post …on a new line! (<iframe ……

Voila!

Note:

 • For whatever reason, sometimes, when the HTML is highlighted by dragging the mouse over it (or selected by highlighting on a mobile device), the pasted HTML has <iframe and /iframe> modified to <iframe and /iframe>. So these need to be edited.

 • Double-clicking a mouse on the HTML to highlight it avoids this - but ads a " ’ " at the beginning and end that need deleting.

 • Ensure that the opening “<” starts a new line without any spaces in front.
