Iron Age in Autumn

I love history, and autumn has to be the best season, so I took great pleasure in a day out in Wiltshire, visting a few of the many historical sites Wiltshire has to offer.

The first 2 sites were almost inaccessible, Bicknoll Castle and Broad Town White Horse, and great fun reaching them through woods, hills and a river

The video is longer than normal, as it contains highlights from 5 locations:

  1. Bincknoll Castle (2500 BC)
  2. Broad Town White Horse (1893 AD)
  3. Devil’s Den (2000 BC)
  4. West Kennet Avenue (2200 BC)
  5. Avebury (2850 BC)

It certainly is not my best editing, but hopefully good enough to show the splendour of Iron Age Wiltshire in aumtumn

Thanks Alan. Yes, that was my favourite part of the day out, walking through the woods - the camera doesn’t do it justice.

And yet they say the camera never lies !
