That’s your Receiver antenna. 
and yes its extremely important lol
I would try and find away of making sure it can’t end up in the props as this will cut it up and stop the quad working.

I’ve already managed to get the video transmitter caught in the props somehow, while it was bobbling away under the sofa, I guess. And I don’t know how that nick in the bottom prob happened. I’m getting much better at killing it as soon as I lose control…

This video was fantastic Deano, just went through setting up my Quad and controller and all works great without a hitch
Well there is one hitch, me and my ability to control the quad but that’s not Bardwells fault

Earwig, feel your pain. Such a learning curve, but you will get there. Definately spend more time in Sim though! I got my quad working, then went sim for a week or two, and then back to sim and it’s amazing the difference it makes. Nowhere near the same, but it just… Dunno gets something right in your head!
