Hi everyone. Ive just joined as this seemed like a really resource for help and information. Im new to drones and just received my first one as a present, a dji mini se. Im based in Buckingham and looking for decent safe places to fly to get used to my aircraft

Where are you based?

Have you seen our members map? (Click the burger-menu in the top right) You may find some pilots living near you. Feel free to add yourself to the members map too :+1:t2:

We’re a well established club with many knowledgeable members so it’s very likely that any issues you come across will have been discussed here before. Our discussion forum has very powerful search features which should help you find what you need but if you get stuck you can post a new question in the #questions-and-answers category.

Hi @Scotty007 just got given a Deerc mini drone to see if I like flying. It’s OK but it is not a DJI mini that’s for sure. My bro has the DJI Mini 2 which is fantastic so I’m upgrading to the Mini 2 THIS WEEK. Do get the dronescene map it is so useful.

Hi,

Welcome to the club.
If you are anywhere near Chesham think of joining the Chesham model flying club as they have a flying field in Pednor specially for Quads. I go to fly there and has been very useful find my feet flying my DJI w/o having to worry about anything.

GADC is a great place and you will find a lot of good advice and help. All the best.
