Largs, Scotland

Was in the skies over Largs yesterday gathering some footage for some work for a client.
I decided to use the opportunity to have a little fly over the famous seaside town and get an aerial view of the sea front and ferry going across to Millport.

Nice video buddy and as you were flying I so wanted you to go into sport mode and catch the ferry :ferry::joy::joy::joy:

If the battery wasn’t running a little low I would have given it a go!

Not got a drone yet as I want to be 900% it’s for me because in the past I have committed to things and got bored very quickly but fingers crossed if I meet fellow flyers I will gain knowledge experience have fun and you never know maybe make money from it but that’s way way off :dollar::blush:need to learn to fly first and see if my ageing old brain can work out what to do :joy::joy:

Iain you will be fine - a good quality drone like the DJI Min 3/ 4/ SE etc basically fly themselves - you just use the sticks to make it go up / down / forward / backwards / left right turn.

Its not like flying a helicopter where you have to juggle 15 apples while rubbing your tummy hopping on one leg. Slowly does it and large open spaces to build confidence - the more you do it the more at ease you will feel.

Remember, if you get yourself in a muddle just let go of everything and the drone will hover in place whilst you take a breath and regroup

I can see that happening a lot :joy::joy: or crashing

Honestly, a good drone with omnidirectional sensors is a lot harder to crash than you might think.

That’s the type I think would best suit me as a complete drone dummy :joy::joy:
