FFS whats up with some people
Unbelievable
They were released without charge, apparently.
Yes, ao it seems. Something strange is going on as even waving toy guns or chair legs can result in a serious charge. The problem is that the various reports I have found all share the same wording - there is only a single source for the story.
Slow news day?
We could try speeding it up tomorrow? Several drones flying in the same area should generate a conclusive response. ![]()
Not sure if this link will work but this was posted in a local facebook group to me and the amount of comments saying shoot it down is staggering. Now I’m not condoning the actions of who ever was flying it as they are clearing flying in a built up residential area.
To be honest I did have to google map the road name to make sure it wasn’t me as I’d had my drone up at a local nature reserve that was pretty close to a housing estate. But I was flying within the drone code and kept my 150m but still had to check just to be sure
I’m intreagued as to what drone it could be if it can stay in the air over her garden for over half an hour. Some covert police activity?
I think shes just your typical facebook warrior that moans about everything, blows everything way out of proportion and over exaggerates everything. But the amount of people suggesting she should “shoot it out the sky” is staggering.
I do know the type as there’s so many of them these days. Unfortunately people are acting like sheep at the moment. You get one shout “privacy” and the flock follow without even investigating what they’re objecting to. Drones are just a convenient target. As an experienced amateur photographer I’ve been through the “privacy” witch hunts. The town I live in now has a recognised artistic presence so I don’t gert hassled when out and about. In the past I had one guy walk across from one side of a valley to the other to ask me why I was photographing his family. They were a full quarter of a mile away. He saw me pointing my camera in their general direction through his binoculars. He had to back down after I showed him the photo’s but I shouldn’t have to be in that position of having to justify something I’m legaly entitled to do.
The amount of “shoot it down” cries comes as no great surprise as you can guarantee the flock like to get on their social media pedestal to follow the crowd.
Bleating about privacy when using that extremely private app Facebook from your Apple or Android phone …
That comment just made me chuckle lol
