Gates open at 13:00 on Thursday 10th September and the event runs right through to Sunday 13th September.

The BIG MEET is held in the middle of the UK to keep it as central to all members as possible.

• Weekend camping: £50 per pitch (for all four days)
  – Tents, caravans, campervans and motorhomes are all welcome

• Day visitors: £15 per person
  – This single price allows entry on all four days

The Big Meet part deux 2026 will again be at Brigstock near Corby in Northants. The dates are Thursday 10th September until Sunday 13th September 2026 Prices are as follows, and all are welcome. All we ask is that anyone flying a drone at the meet bring along a copy of their public liability insurance if they do not hold GADC insurance, if you are flying then public liability insurance is MANDATORY. I so need to come to this! I looked at the last one in June, and love the photos.
I take it there is no agenda, just turn up to chat, fly and chill.

I live 2 hours away, so would need to camp, but also don’t fancy not washing for three days!

Plenty of local hotels/b&b nearby

There is also shops and all the regular fast food joints for wash facilities.

Myself and @SparkyFPV went to the the local pool in Corby for a swim and shower, great value at £6

Or there is always babywipes and Lynx

Cheers for the info @milkmanchris. I can bring spare cloths for each day and leave them in my car, it is just the washing that is my issue. I do like the idea of going for a swim and then showing afterwards, that is a great shout and would happily do that each day.
Now all I need to do is get permission from my wife that I can go away from the weekend, and get her to drive the kids around to clubs/work that weekend (which is normally my job). Oh yes, and also find a way to tell her I bought a drone. Maybe I should start with that!

lol, like that ‘pink ticket’. I can’t see it being a problem me coming for the weekend, I’m a bit sad that I don’t go out much apart from work events. I would happy bring my kids, but my son is 17 and just stays in his bedroom all day unless it is food time, he needs the toilet, or he is going to college or work. My daughter is 15 and just wants to scroll on Instagram or YouTube (or ripping it out of me).

I take it people bring their own food and drink, and some share if they want to, but otherwise it is fend for yourself? Alcohol is allowed, but only in the evening after controllers are put away?

We did shared bbq in June. Folks brought food and we have plenty of willing chefs and equipment to cook it on (watch this space for more details nearer the time)

Many do a takeaway run on a night, and the local Chinese and Turkish Grill (both really good) also deliver to the field.

Fish and chip shop was also done in June (thanks @Steviegeek )

As for alcohol, flying drones is thirsty work and the nights have been known to be long.

There are also a number of tee-totallers so it’s not all about that, it’s not what you drink round the fire but who you drink with

don’t fancy not washing for three days!

You only need a kettle to get warm water, a bowl and some soap, then you’re sorted.

Nothing wrong with a strip down wash in the open air.

But we request that you keep your underwear on. It’s not one of those sort of campsites

I managed to have a wet shave every day too.

Underwear won’t be an issue, I always keep them on the outside of my trousers. Keeps them cleaner for longer I find…

Nice. This really sounds like something I need to do. I am so grateful to the people who set this club up, and for everybody else (yes, that’s all of you) for making me and all other new people feel so welcome. I wish I had bought a drone sooner!
