I’m on the look out because recently we’ve had private helicopters and light aircraft very low over the house and village. Was going to report to CAA but they want the G-***** reg number and video of said aircraft before they will even investigate.

That’s where tracking sites like ADS-B etc come in very handy. You’ll gleam that info immediately with tracking routes.

Look on flightradar24.com - that will give registration, though only if they have their transponder switched on, and should also give their altitude

You’ll find a lot more aircraft on https://globe.adsbexchange.com/ than FR24 I find.

It’s also a great site to specifically track military flights.

Tried adsbexchange recently and it was good to see with all the info but my only issue was the altitude it was registering was high for how low it was flying…

Remember that they are reporting height above sea level, not altitude over ground :wink:
