If I start a flight in Litchi can I hover and change to DJI Go or must I land and reconnect everything. Frighten to try in case the drone disappears over the horizon!
Yes - you can - but you do have to ensure the Litchi app is completely closed, and not running in background.
But, more importantly, I would ask why would you need to?
Many people use Litchi full-time in place of Go4, and there’s really not much in Go4 that isn’t available to you in Litchi.
I find POI is much better in Go4

Remember - the drone REMAINS connected to the RC … even without an app running. So the lack of an app whilst you switch over isn’t going cause any problems.
Indeed, you can fly the MPP just using the RC and no device at all.
And of course if you switch off the RC it comes home too (tried that)
