Hi I have a mavic4 pro and a mavic 3 pro cine. Both have had remote id implemented back in Jan. but yesterday I took the 4 out and noticed that my remote id had gone I tried to reimplement it but it says registration number format error I have tried several times. Bit I read somewhere that it may be to do with key board the one in my mavic is the gboard. So I wonder if anyone can answer the query thank you. Chris Flanagan.
Don’t know what you mean here. Your rid number is similar to your flyer id but slightly different and has a key (3 digits) that you should not divilge. But you need to put it in your drone in the rid field in the correct format GBR*************-*** the last three digits are your key?
The last 3 characters can be found by logging into your CAA account only
Thank you for reply yes I know about the private digits I already had put it in and was using drones. It’s just the thing that when I tried my mavic 4 the rid was deleted but still in the mavic 3 pro cine I can’t understand why it’s deleted on 4 but. Not deleted on the cond k did try several times to input again to no avail I did say shady the response from drone was and I did hear some where thst the key board has a code in it. So it can read things when you type I believe y my e number j input are not showing correctly like I do put in the gbr firsly that’s when I get the message up registration number format error is what it states I must have tried twenty times I used two batteries up. Thank you all
I hope yih all understand what I am trying to say.
The gbr must be capitals GBR
You need to go onto the CAA website to get your RID code. It’s basically your operator ID minus the hyphens and OP, leaving 15 characters. Then there’s a checksum digit you’ve never seen before, and your secret code.
Yes I did put it in capitals for gbr the rest as it states from caa
I think you might be suffering from big thumbs! Is there anyone who can type it in for you? Your typing on here confuses me so what chance does the drone have ![]()
