Mavic Air 2 Gimbal protector

Just received my Mavic Air 2 today. All going well. Charged up, activated etc.

The gimbal protector seems a bit tight going back on, even though the gimbal itself is quite well spring loaded. Should the camera be facing lens forward when the protector goes back on, or should it be turned to a certain orientation?

The camera must be facing straight forward and level
I thought the same when i got mine

It’s not an easy fit, but does get easier with practice, I don’t personally own the MA2 but i imagine all gimbal guards are exactly the same to one and another
