Nicolas Air 3 shot with my Air 3s

A few from me, I missed dawn (arrived late).

Yet one more shot of the tower (well a few actually).

The shots of the tower show a comparison between the wide angle and telephoto lens on the air 3S

Thanks very much for organising the meet and it was great to see everyone.

If anyone got any orbital footage I am very keen to have a go at making a splatmap ( no it has nothing to do with seagulls! )

With your DJI drones you can collect video of a site, such as the blackpool tower and turn it into a sort of picture called a splatmap. A splatmap is a bit like a 3D interactable painting you can move around in almost as if you are flying your drone through a picture on the computer.

If you are interested in this here is a website with some supersplat pictures to look at, you may need to look at them on a PC because they might crash a phone.

Guys some good shots, I set off and stopped off at Lytham, just got a new drone Mini 5 pro, never been flown. So I tried a quick flight before getting to the tower. Good job I did had a few problems with the drone, my fault so came back home. Got them sorted now so look forward to the next meet up there. And yes it was bloody cold out there. Need to get some flight time on it now and get familiar with it. Still got my old Mavic 2 pro but did not have it with me.

Should have come along anyway, we may have sorted the issue there and then.
Anyway hopefully see you at the next meet.
