Also going to add red and green strobes for orientation. Bliddy wind and rain have prevented proper testing but quick test from my garden it stands out as a black silhouette (can silhouettes be any other colour?) at 100ft up and 100ft out. ---

I’d have been very surprised if someone else hadn’t thought of this idea yet. Personally I got self adhesive silver reflective tap and put it on the body of my Mini 3. On a day like today, 27°C and wall to wall sunshine, it made spotting the drone a lot easier. If I could also make another little suggestion; I’ve added different reflective shapes to each battery, so that I can tell them apart. It means I just have to remember whether I used the round, triangular and/or square, and I know hich one is then fully charged, without having to check them in the charger. If you don’t get it, that’s okay. From my SCUBA days I remember the coast guard experimenting with visibility at sea Flourescent pink was miles more visible than anything else so I have pink metallic strips along each side and a tiny strobe on top of my mini 4s. For my aging eyes VLOS limit is around 220 meters. ---
