Short, but brilliant!! ,you may have too much time on your hands, but this was time well spent!!!
Well, at least I can now say I’ve done a Cat video
Try being trapped in a 12 foot square packing case at 16 years of age, for and hour in the pitch dark, then when the lid is lifted off, looking down and finding a nest of Tarantulas running round your feet !.
Now you can understand why I, and my kids are petrified of our 8 legged friends !.
Sorry Chris!
No worries you were’nt to know.
At least I can look at them now, but still uneasy when a big bugger runs across the floor !.
I know what you mean - I do try to pick them up and deposit them outside when I’m called upon to remove them from one of the kids rooms, (I’m told house spiders can’t survive outside - but it’s better than being flushed!)
Probably best swerve this Chris!
(This seems to stream better )
What happened above, was a typical Factory Lunchtime prank on a new employee, that went horribly wrong.
Unfortunately I was the one on the receiving end !".
The packing case had straw in the bottom (which I was sent in to clean out!), so i could not see the 8 legged fiends until they opened the lid, after the lunch break.
The case had recently been transported from South America with a large Motor in it for repair, and Mummy spider was pregnant enroute. They had been living on a very black bunch of bananas that some prat the other end had put in there.
Some fucking joke !.
I should add, that all the spiders found homes in local Zoo’s.
That sounds a bit grim
Where I used to work - several years ago, someone in the IT team printed out a series of labels on a little Brother label printer with highly accurate (mainly), personality traits of people at work and attached it to the number plates of their car - yellow backgrounds were used for the rear, white backgrounds were used for the front. All of these stickers are still in place (So I’m told)
Note to self - don’t piss off IT.
(And occasionally check your number plates )
It’s been an absolute joy cycling round the Cotswolds (well, some of the uphills are less joyous) with next to no traffic.
Some of the tourist hotspots are that for a reason but, of course, they then get over run which rather detracts from why people visited in the first place. I can’t be doing with carrying my “proper” camera on a long ride but these are with my phone - the first is a deserted Lower Slaughter, the others are an almost deserted Bourton-on-the-Water.
Good to see you’re still around Colin @Renni-Aire
The black and white, coupled with the deserted streets, makes those photos look like the land that time forgot
My view yesterday morning at 4.45 am on my way to pest control duty, couldn’t resist this shot with a Samsung Galaxy S9
What a view
Where’s this @ChrisT?
Just on the edge of Dartmoor, straight up the hill from my house. It’s outside of the Dartmoor park area, apparently it’s owned by a local estate.
Nice to see it’s taking advantage of the permission to go sun-bathing again.
Just as well its not in Wales or the Taliban would have him for “enjoying himself unnecessarily”
