Haha, we have a woman around the corner with a Westie, does exactly the same. Unbelievable. I’ve actually made it into a game now, bit childish really, if I spot her before she spots us, I move in her direction, but not in an obvious way, and not making any direct look in her direction, when she spots us it’s PANIC stations, you can see her looking for an escape route .

I wouldn’t mind, but she’s seen me talking to other dog owners, with my dogs arses firmly planted on the ground and behaving .

The funniest time I was out with Kenny up the Beacon, he’s off the lead, trotting just in front of me, this couple who have around 5 or 6 sub species of dog (shitzu things) appear a good 200yrds off, I was on the path going in there direction, they then realised I was coming their way, they actually scooped up all dogs and run the opposite direction:rofl:. What? I actually think I remarked to Kenny at the time with a sigh ‘Look at them dickheads lad’ unbelievable .

A lot of discrimination against large breed is down to ignorance, or believing what’s said on Faceache or printed in The Scum.

I actually believe large breed are more likely to have at least some training while I think the majority of people with small breed don’t think there dogs need it, and it’s cute when Foo Foo barks and snarls at the big dog

35 years ago I was there, I was caught on wall in full uniform when it all happened.

We did not realise the consequences of the new sky satellite broadcasting sky news live feed as when all kicked off we jumped in a car raced down to the wall 4 of us jumping around on top enjoying the moment and got back to barracks and guard at gate said RSM wants to see us :scream: he was raging :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Punishment for the next 7 days was standing at a table along the wall serving hot beverages and soup to the civilians, tbh it was not a punishment really as we’re able to absorb the atmosphere.

What I also I remember the 1000’s of Trabants just left abandoned on streets it was unbelievable.

Regarding these locks did not realise there such a thing that people photograph them & put them on alarmy website,

Going off some of the things I got up to, 90% of the time no sense of humour. The other 10% is rarely seen

@DavidWood I’d like to see photos of the actual places you’ve visited, rather than seeing photos of signs for the places you’ve visited

The other photos aren’t from my mobile but this one was, that’s why I shared it to here because it’s from my mobile. My drone photos are on the daily photo thread. Not managed to put them on yet. My brain is a little bit overwhelmed and tired with being out in the Sun but I’m trying my best to put them up.

Sparkes Marina normally looks like this:

When Dogzilla and I went over the field to the creek today the Marina looked like this:

Boats gone and the pontoons rounded up and herded into a corner.

Was able to grab this shot of a rainbow earlier today.

We’d been for a walk with the dog and stopped to get a coffee, where we sat outside.

I’ve not been able to put my drone up due to the winds and sleet which could damage the drone, so here my ground shots from my trusty Samsung A51.
