These two trees are where the crows wait to catch me on the morning walk and demand their breakfast. There are some cracking skies over the last few days.
Unwanted wild life……I caught him / her in my humane trap, put him in a carrier bag but I didn’t notice the cage was upside down. I got to the release site only to find he got out and is somewhere in the car. I put a bit of bread right in the middle of the boot and it’s gone.
🤦🏽
Noticed this weird-looking section of hedgerow on the way up to my parents’ yesterday. We were behind schedule so didn’t have time to stop and investigate.
Fortunately, it wasn’t too far away so I was able to go back later and have a proper look.
Caterpillars!
Sadly I didn’t have the presence of mind to take my drone with me (NB: always take your drone with you), as I think this would have made a perfect, last-minute entry to the RTF Competition - Construction
Your man Andy Santhorpe, a caterpillar expert, did have time:
Me again. 14 image mobile pano, stitched together with Microsoft ICE. I know to get more ground and sky next time.
This is my flying buddy over the last 20+ years, we’ve done most FPV builds together but now it’s easier to buy a RTF / FPV and just get out and fly.
He’s getting on now, last week he popped over to the flying field unexpectedly he watched me fly the race drone and bought one right there and then.
Demonstrating RTH
His arrived a day or so ago…
Another convert
Yes, we were out at 9am today, he loved, he’s like kid again despite having the shakes.
The motion controller is just something else.
From me, welcome him to the “team”
I tried to persuade him to have a go, but too afraid, I think he’ll eventually have a go. He should be alright as he built his own full size airplane and has been a pilot most of his life.
Until you have to land the bastard
No drone photos from me as all my recent stuff has been for work and all of hospitals/secure sites.
But snapped this while waiting for a clear shot of the outside of one of our buildings.
Nothing special but I like how it turned out.
I’ve always wanted to get an aerial shot of Glasgow City Chambers, but the square is always so busy, so here is the next best thing. Took the chance to grab this on a recce for a wedding we are shooting soon, the wedding venue is on the opposite side of George Square and one of the photo locations I can use is the roof.
