If there had been fewer cars in the car park I might have given it a go but there was too much too hit if something went wrong. The beach was no better, it was like standing in a sandblaster.
That’s a cool little gadget , do you guy use those to measure the wind for your drones ? Maybe there more accurate than certain apps ? thought I’d ask , Thankyou
I got it on Amazon for a few quid, but only use it as a rough guide as I doubt it’s as accurate as a properly calibrated precision instrument designed for the job, but it’s fun to use. To determine whether or not to fly I also use the UAV forecast app, again, only as a rough guide. When I arrive at the location I plan to fly I decide whether or not to take off based on the conditions when I get there. Drone Scene is also a great help for anything else you might need to know before you take off.
Drone Scene doesn’t show weather, but it shows you plenty of other stuff, including places our members recommend as good to fly. If you’re after a Weather app the MET Office own app isn’t bad, though I prefer Ventusky because it shows a moving graphic of wind speed and direction.
You guys have gone to a lot of work to achieve that , let alone the GADC itself , very very well thought out wow What a fantastic job & above , yes I also understand now why you guys are so on the ball with the whole entire platform , seriously fair play , Bravo !
