Crazy big Duckweed bloom on the canal and parts of the flashes these last two weeks, looks like pea soup!

We went away and a friend looked after our dog and they went along the Canal Dog thought the green was grass and jumped onto it. I was told he looked pretty shocked.
Scotsmans flash by any chance Rich? Nice little walk down the canal there

Yes mate, that section of the canal has Scotsman’s Flash on one side of it and Pearson’s Flash on the other side

The something about walking next to canals. When ever I get the urge it’s off down to Appley Bridge.
Insanely jealous it’s part of your every day walk though
