The moon’s halo or lunar halo is brill tonight. Shame my phone doesn’t quite cut it though. It is an optical illusion that causes a large bright ring to surround the moon. This striking and often beautiful halo around the moon is caused by the refraction of moonlight from ice crystals in the upper atmosphere.

@thewhoosh One of my favourite walks kinder. Looks like one of the moon rocks around Noe Stool. Jumped off that Keith for a bet once! Probably 10+ yrs ago now time flies!
